First of all, congratulations for stumbling across my quiet little food blog. My name is Evelyn. As for my background, I was raised in the hibernation-inducing winters of Minnesota and am now currently melting in the heat of California. As you can tell, I adore baking and cooking, as well as watching nerdy things and playing nerdy games. This blog contains the marvelous (?) results of my attempts to combine my two passions while also creating treats to fit the seasons and my sweet tooth.

So, while not every recipe I post will be geek-based, they will surely bring enjoyment, allure, and maybe a sugar coma or two.
